LOS ANGELES, CA – Leading South Indian filmmaker Anil Sunkara along with his friend and partner Abhishek Agarwal will realize a dream next year with the release of his new biopic on the life of India’s most famous nuclear scientist and former President, Dr. Abdul Kalam.

“Dr. Kalam has always been one of my heroes and is a hero to millions in India. As a filmmaker, telling his amazing life story in movie form has always been a dream of mine,” Sunkara said. “This is a story that will engage American audiences and the film has great potential for crossover success in the US market.”
